This site is a Ripley & District U3A blog for the Bird Watching group. Its purpose is to provide a web based record of the group’s monthly visits to various bird watching venues in and around the Derbyshire area. It is free to be a member of the group but you have to join the Ripley & District U3A first.

We meet every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10 am at the venue or earlier in Ripley Market Place (short stay) car park, for car sharing or for lifts. A typical visit will be about 3 hours long, mostly a gentle stroll, but it is dependent on each venue. See the group’s programme page for more details.
